Saudi Arabia is expanding its residential land initiatives to help eligible housing beneficiaries own and build their homes, with free residential land offered through the Sakani platform. Applications are submitted online via the Sakani website or application.
To apply, beneficiaries sign in to Sakani using their national digital identity, verify their eligibility, then select Residential Solutions → Free Residential Lands, choose an available scheme, and complete the electronic allocation procedures. Based on the available official information, no application fee or purchase price is stated for the free-land product.
Once land is allocated, beneficiaries must obtain and upload the building permit to Sakani within 6 months, begin construction within 1 year, and complete construction and obtain the occupancy certificate within 3 years. Eligible beneficiaries may also receive a nonrefundable immediate subsidy of SAR 100,000 or SAR 150,000, depending on the approved subsidy matrix.
Reflecting the scale of the program, a reported 9,733 residential plots were offered through Sakani across 54 housing schemes between January and August 2026. This continued availability aims to ease access to homeownership for Saudi families across the Kingdom.
How to get help
For support, beneficiaries can contact the Sakani Beneficiaries Care Center at 199090, Sunday to Thursday, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. A business WhatsApp line is also available at 0554199090, Sunday to Thursday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
No verified 2026 change to the land price, application fee, or construction deadlines has been identified, so applicants should follow the standard steps and deadlines above when planning their applications.
