Three major airports in Saudi Arabia continued operating with disruptions as flight delays and cancellations affected travelers, The airports in Jeddah, Dammam and Medina remained open while schedules stayed subject to change.
At King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, operations continued but passengers faced delays and some cancellations. Similar conditions were reported at King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, where flights also experienced delays and cancellations.
Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Medina continued its operations as well. Across all three airports, flight schedules and operating status remained liable to change at short notice.
What travelers should know
With conditions shifting, passengers are encouraged to confirm their flight status directly before heading to the airport and to allow extra time for their journey. Those with connecting flights or onward travel should pay particular attention to any updates affecting their itinerary.
This matters to both residents and visitors across the Kingdom, especially during periods of high passenger movement. Checking for the most recent information and staying flexible can help reduce the impact of delays and cancellations on travel plans.
