Jeddah's growing local food scene gets another highlight as the Azka Farmers Market returns with its Dates Edition, commonly known as the Jeddah Farmers Market. The event takes place on 3 September 2026 at Hayy Jameel arts and culture complex in the Al Mohammadiyah area of Jeddah, running from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
Entry is free of charge for visitors, though registration is required and can be completed at no cost through the event's official pages. The market brings together between 70 and 80 farmers and producers from across the Kingdom, including more than 30 farms in recent editions, offering shoppers a direct link to Saudi growers.
Visitors can browse a wide range of Saudi agricultural products, from dates, fruits, vegetables and herbs to honey, coffee, dairy, grains, baked goods, and organic and seasonal items. Named participants in recent markets have included Aysh Academy, Abazeer, Ghiras Alsahra, Alnahal Aljwal, Zaki Salem Farms, Al-Sadan Farm, Bee Ways, Wild Figra Honey, Nada Soap, and Baha Honey, among others.
Beyond shopping, the market hosts workshops, talks, kids' activities, farm-fresh tasting experiences and sustainability-focused programs. It operates as a seasonal and monthly market, often held on the second weekend of the month, with special themed editions such as the summer and dates editions. Individual editions typically run for one to three days in the evening.
For families and food lovers in Jeddah, the market offers an accessible way to support local farmers and discover produce from different regions of the Kingdom. Product prices are set by each vendor, with smaller produce items generally in the lower range and premium goods like dates, honey and specialty products priced higher.
