Officials in the communications sector report that the first four editions of LEAP in Riyadh have generated a cumulative total of more than $44.2 billion in technology launches, investments, and partnerships, cementing the event's position as the Kingdom's flagship technology gathering.
Organized under the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, LEAP has run across the 2022–2025 event cycle as a global platform for artificial intelligence, cloud services, digital infrastructure, and advanced technologies. Over its first four editions, the event has drawn more than half a million visitors and hosted announcements covering major data center, cloud region, and AI infrastructure projects by both international and Saudi companies.
Analytical tracking of the event shows the cumulative investment figure crossed the $42 billion mark with the 2025 edition, before later communications rounded the total to $44.2 billion.
The momentum has continued at LEAP 2026, held at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center (RECC) in Malham, where more than $15 billion in additional technology launches, investments, and partnerships in AI and advanced technologies were announced.
Why it matters
For residents and the wider business community, the sustained flow of technology investment signals continued growth in data centers, cloud capacity, and AI infrastructure across the Kingdom — sectors that support new jobs, digital services, and opportunities for startups and investors. Corporate participation in the event, including exhibitors, sponsors, and investors, is handled through LEAP's own organizer channels rather than standard government e-services portals.
