Monsha'at Wraps AI Week for SMEs with SDAIA

Monsha'at concluded its AI Week, held from 9 to 13 August 2026 in partnership with SDAIA, as part of its Business Weeks series aimed at helping small and medium enterprises adopt artificial intelligence. Activities ran across SME support centers in Riyadh, Jeddah, Madinah, and Alkhobar, with additional events in Abha, Qassim, and Jazan.

The program featured six main sessions and more than 48 entrepreneurial meetings, drawing participation from over 40 public, private, academic, and technology partners. All AI Week events were free for SMEs and entrepreneurs registered through Monsha'at's SME support centers and online channels, with no ticketing required through any government platform.

Free training and support programs

Monsha'at continues to offer free training in data and AI through Monsha'at Academy, where electronic training certificates are digitally signed by SDAIA. Registration and access run through the Academy platform with no paid subscription fees for SMEs.

Additional programs include Monsha'at's AI incubator, delivered with the National Technology Development Program, which supports AI startups over a six-month incubation period with mentoring, product development, and market entry help. SDAIA's generative AI accelerator, meanwhile, is a 10-week program offering advanced technology access and financial grants totaling 150,000 SAR for selected startups.

Entrepreneurs can also benefit from SDAIA's Rowad Initiative by registering their establishment on Monsha'at's Mazaya platform and applying for the Rowad Package, which provides digital solutions with discounts of up to 90% on operational costs and up to 100% on subscription fees for eligible services.

These initiatives reflect a broader push to equip Saudi entrepreneurs with practical AI tools and reduce the cost of adopting emerging technologies.
