National Day Fireworks, Drone Shows Postponed

Saudi Arabia has postponed the National Day fireworks and drone shows scheduled across all regions on September 23, 2026. The displays were pushed back until further notice, and no replacement date had been announced as of September 25, 2026. The postponement was communicated through the official Enjoy Saudi (عيشها) events platform.

The affected shows had been planned in several cities, including Riyadh, Jeddah, Al-Khobar, Madinah, Hail, Arar, Al-Baha, Tabuk, and Buraidah. Most were set to begin at 9:00 p.m., while Jeddah's display had been scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

No information has been shared regarding a revised venue, a rescheduled timing, or how any previously issued arrangements will be handled. There was no ticket fee associated with the shows.

What residents should know

Families and visitors who had planned their evenings around the shows are advised to check the Enjoy Saudi platform and its official social-media account for the updated schedule once it becomes available. Confirming timings in advance can help avoid unnecessary trips to the previously announced locations.

Other National Day activities have continued as planned, though their status and timings vary by event. Anyone attending is encouraged to verify details for each individual activity before heading out.
