New Arabic Language Games Platform Launches Online

King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language has launched a new interactive digital games platform designed to make learning Arabic more engaging. Available online through games.ksaa.gov.sa and accessible via any standard web browser, the platform brings together a wide range of Arabic language games in a single gateway.

In its current experimental phase during 2026, the platform offers more than 50 interactive games, spanning lexical (dictionary-based), educational, and entertainment categories. All are built around Arabic linguistic data and presented in a competitive, gamified format that mixes fun with language thinking.

The Academy plans to expand the platform to more than 100 games supported by a database of over 15,000 questions, targeting users of different interests and proficiency levels. The service is presented as freely accessible, with no published subscription or usage fees, and no defined expiry period for access.

Why it matters

For families, students, and expats looking to build their Arabic skills, the platform adds a low-barrier, playful way to practice. There is no need to register through Absher, Nafath, or any other government portal — access is via the web portal only. The initiative aligns with Saudi Arabia's "Year of Artificial Intelligence" efforts.

The games platform complements the Academy's broader digital ecosystem, including the "Ahlan Wa Sahlan" Arabic learning platform, which offers structured programs across five proficiency levels for both native and non-native speakers through web and mobile apps. Together, these tools form part of an integrated set of self-learning resources, standardized assessments, and interactive content aimed at learners inside and outside the Kingdom.
