PIF Launches radia to Manage Saudi Sports Venues

Public Investment Fund has created radia, a new venue-services joint venture set up to manage sports and live entertainment venues and events across Saudi Arabia. The company brings together SURJ Sports Investment, Live Nation and Oak View Group, with SURJ — wholly owned by Public Investment Fund — serving as the majority shareholder.

radia's mandate spans the full lifecycle of a venue, from design review and development planning and oversight to operations, commercialisation, event activation, hospitality offerings and fan experience. Its remit covers stadiums, arenas and major sports precincts across the Kingdom, including newly built venues tied to رؤية السعودية 2030 and preparations for major events such as the 2034 FIFA World Cup and موسم الرياض. The company's first chief executive is Xavier Campbell.

The launch is part of a wider restructuring of Saudi sport and entertainment infrastructure. Public Investment Fund has also established Expo 2030 Riyadh Company, a wholly owned entity tasked with developing, managing and operating the infrastructure and programming for Expo 2030 in الرياض. Separately, Event Investment Fund has formed a joint venture with Legends Global to manage and operate exhibition, convention and entertainment venues, with a focus on permanent facilities for sports, culture, tourism and entertainment.
