Radia to Manage Saudi Arenas, Stadiums and Events

A new company called Radia has been formed to manage sports and entertainment venues across Saudi Arabia, in a move that expands the kingdom's growing events and infrastructure sector. The venture brings together SURJ Sports Investment, Live Nation, and Oak View Group.

Radia will focus on managing arenas and stadiums, running operations, hosting activations, and handling the commercialization and promotion of music and sporting events inside the kingdom. Current details of the agreement do not disclose contract values, fees, or ticket prices.

Why it matters

The launch comes as Saudi Arabia builds out major venue capacity ahead of the 2034 World Cup, a push that includes 11 new stadiums and upgrades to 4 existing stadiums. A dedicated venue operator is expected to support the consistent, professional management of these facilities as they come online.

Beyond football, the kingdom is pursuing additional domestic entertainment and sports projects. These include a 20,000-seat arena in الدرعية and a planned Royal Opera House, both of which point to a broader expansion of world-class venues for residents and visitors.

For communities in الرياض, جدة, and beyond, more managed venues could mean a wider calendar of concerts, live shows, and sporting events closer to home. Saudi Living will continue to follow developments as further details of Radia's projects and venues are confirmed.
