Riyadh Sports Investment Forum Returns in 2026

Riyadh continues to strengthen its position as a regional hub for the sports economy, with the Sports Investment Forum (SIF) 2026 set to take place at The Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh, from 20 to 22 April 2026. The three-day event typically runs from 09:00 to 19:00 and brings together investors, decision-makers, clubs, federations, and brands.

Registration for the April forum is conducted through an official online portal at register.saudisf.com, with organizers noting that seats are limited. The program includes strategic sessions, workshops, an investment exhibition, a dedicated platform for signing agreements, and an Elite Business Club connecting senior investors and executives, all focused on partnerships, financing, and future growth in the sports sector.

The forum builds on strong momentum. The inaugural edition, held in Riyadh in April 2025, generated 88 investment opportunities and 20 strategic projects valued at more than SAR 20 billion. It featured over 50 workshops, around 120 global speakers, more than 2,800 participants, and over 3,500 workshop attendees, while more than 60 investment agreements were signed with over 50 entities and strategic partners.

Earlier in January 2026, MESIF Riyadh 2026 — the Middle East Sports Investment Forum — was held at Kingdom Arena in strategic partnership with the Ministry of Investment and the Ministry of Sport, convening over 420 senior delegates, 27 sponsors and partners, and 46 speakers. A separate Sports Investment Forum is also listed in Riyadh for 3–5 May 2026.

Why it matters

The forum is framed as part of Saudi Vision 2030 efforts to make sports a sustainable economic contributor and to position Riyadh as a regional and global hub for the sports industry and investment. The Royal Commission for Riyadh City is a strategic partner of the 2026 forum, using the event to expand investment channels, strengthen the city's urban environment for sports, and enhance Riyadh's profile as a destination for sports and active living.
