Sah Sukuk September Issue Offers 4.80% Fixed Return

The Ministry of Finance has opened the September 2026 tranche of the "Sah" savings sukuk, a government-backed, Shariah-compliant product offering Saudi citizens a fixed annual return of 4.80% — higher than the 4.70% offered in the August issue. The program is arranged by the National Debt Management Center (NDMC).

The riyal-denominated instrument runs for a one-year saving period, with the accrued return paid in full at maturity and no interim coupon payments. The subscription window opens at 10:00 a.m. on 6 September 2026 and closes at 3:00 p.m. on 8 September 2026 (Saudi time), with allocation set for 15 September 2026.

Investors who wish to exit early can redeem their holdings between 20 and 22 September 2026, with redemption amounts paid on 29 September 2026. The product is described as a secure, low-risk savings instrument with no subscription or redemption fees.

Eligibility is limited to Saudi citizens aged 18 or above who hold an investment account with one of the approved platforms: SNB Capital, Aljazira Capital, Alinma Investment, SAB Invest, and Al Rajhi Capital. The minimum subscription is SAR 1,000, while the maximum cap is SAR 200,000

The initiative is designed to deepen domestic savings and give individuals a simple, predictable way to grow their money with a fixed return. For citizens looking for a low-risk option amid a wider push to expand personal savings, the monthly Sah tranches offer a straightforward entry point with returns aligned to market benchmarks.
