More than 180,000 male and female students in the Hail region have begun classes for the 1448 AH academic year, spread across over 1,300 public schools and educational facilities managed by the General Administration of Education in Hail region under the Ministry of Education.
The Hail Education Department confirmed that school buildings and educational facilities were prepared ahead of the students’ return, and that organizational and educational requirements — including class schedules and staffing — were completed before the start of classes.
study for the 1447–1448 AH school year begins on 01/03/1447 AH, corresponding to 24 August 2025. For Hail schools in 1448 AH, the summer schedule starts on 10 Rabi’ al-Awwal with morning assembly at 06:45, the winter schedule begins on 21 Jumada al-Ula with assembly at 07:30, and during Ramadan 1448 AH morning assembly moves to 09:30 from the first day of the month. University-level registration
At the University of Hail, registration for the first semester of the 1448 AH academic year is carried out electronically through the university’s Academic system via students’ online accounts, subject to conditions related to cohort and grade-point average, and excluding postgraduate and health-program students. The university’s academic calendar also lists the start of the summer semester on 13/01/1448 AH (28 June 2026) and the opening of external transfer requests on 20/01/1448 AH (5 July 2026).
For public schooling in the region, basic education for Saudi citizens continues without published per-student tuition fees, and no new fee schedules for Hail schools for 1448 AH have been indicated. The scale of enrolment underscores the region’s continued focus on providing ready facilities and clear schedules for families as the school year gets under way.
