Tabby Hits $6.5B Valuation After $233M Raise

Riyadh-headquartered fintech Tabby has reached a valuation of about $6.5 billion (roughly SAR 24.4 billion) after raising $233 million (around SAR 874 million) in a Series F equity round in September 2026. The raise lifted the company's value from about $4.5 billion in October 2025.

The round was led by Blue Pool Capital, with participation from existing investors including HSG, Wellington Management, Arbor Ventures, and at least one Gulf institutional investor. It was structured as a primary equity raise, giving Tabby fresh capital to fund its next phase of growth.

Tabby operates in Saudi Arabia as a licensed consumer and SME financing company, holding financing licences issued under the Kingdom's financial sector regulation. Its core Saudi offering remains buy-now-pay-later (BNPL) for retail purchases, with installment plans typically split across three to four monthly payments at 0% interest for on-time payments. Merchant fees are charged to partner retailers rather than paid directly by shoppers, though late fees may apply to customers who miss due dates.

What it means for shoppers

With the new funding, Tabby plans to expand beyond BNPL into consumer lending, SME lending, digital wallets, accounts, cards, and money transfer services, positioning itself as a broader money-management and credit platform tied into the local e-commerce and payments ecosystem.

For residents in Riyadh, Jeddah, and across the Kingdom, access to Tabby continues through its mobile app and partner merchant checkout, not through government e-service portals. There have been no announced 2026 changes to how customers use the service. Exact fee tables and product terms are provided directly to customers and merchants through Tabby's own contracts and digital interfaces.
