Tabuk Airport Welcomes First Seasonal Flight from Sochi

Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Tabuk has welcomed the first seasonal direct flight from Sochi, Russia, marking a new addition to the region's international air links for the 2026 summer season. The inaugural arrival landed in early July 2026 as part of an expanded summer schedule.

The Tabuk–Sochi route is a seasonal international service connecting Tabuk (TUU) with Sochi International Airport (AER) directly, without stops. It is operated by Azimuth Airlines (code A4) using Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ-100) aircraft, with one flight Under the published schedule, flights depart Sochi on Fridays and return from Tabuk on Saturdays.

The airport is operated by Cluster2 Airports as part of the national airport clusters program. The new connection is positioned to support tourism and economic activity across the Tabuk region and to widen the Kingdom's international air connectivity, in line with national aviation and tourism targets.

Typical published economy round-trip fares for the route in mid-2026 start around the equivalent of RUB 80,606. Exact amounts in Saudi Riyal vary with the exchange rate and booking conditions, and are set by the airline and online booking platforms rather than by Saudi regulators.

Arriving international passengers go through standard Saudi immigration, customs, and health entry procedures handled on-site by border and customs authorities. Any required Saudi visit visas for travelers arriving from Russia are obtained through official visa channels and e-visa platforms before travel, with fees, validity, and steps set under national visa policy. No special local fees specific to this route have been announced beyond the standard international passenger charges already included in tickets.
