A recall covering 84,639 Toyota Camry vehicles from model years 2025 and 2026 has been launched in Saudi Arabia over a software fault in the instrument panel system. The campaign applies to cars within the Kingdom only, distributed through the local authorized distributor, and carries the Saudi recall reference 26066.

The defect involves a software fault in the instrument-cluster system that may prevent important information from being displayed. It can also disable turn signals, warning lights, and audible alerts linked to the ignition switch and seat belts, which raises the risk of an accident.

The remedy is a software update only. There is no hardware replacement, and the reprogramming will be carried out at the authorized distributor's workshops free of charge to owners. No inspection or repair fee applies under this recall, and no additional mandatory government service fee has been stated.

How to check your vehicle

Owners can confirm whether their car is included by using the national recall platform Recalls.sa, the official electronic channel for verifying product and vehicle recalls in the Kingdom. Entering the vehicle's 17-digit Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on the platform will show whether the specific car falls under this campaign.

The recall is announced and overseen by the Ministry of Commerce, with Recalls.sa handling VIN-based verification. Owners of affected 2025 and 2026 Camry models are encouraged to check their VIN and book the free software update at an authorized workshop to keep their vehicle's safety systems working properly.
