Absher Adds Online Final Exit Report & Iqama Photo Update

Residents, citizens, and visitors in Saudi Arabia can now issue and print a Final Exit Proof Report entirely online through أبشر, removing the need to visit passport offices for this document. The move is part of continued efforts to expand fully digital government services.

The report is available via أبشر Individuals on the website or app under: My Services → General Services → أبشر Reports → Request a Report → Final Exit Proof Report, with the option to issue it in Arabic or English. The service carries a fee of 25 SAR, paid electronically, and the issued report is valid for 30 days from the date of issuance.

During the 30-day validity window, the report can be verified online using the reference number and ID number. Users can also view and download earlier reports through the “View Previous Reports” option.

Separately, أبشر has introduced a new digital service, “Change Resident ID Photo,” allowing residents to update their Iqama photo fully online without a trip to the passport office.

Final exit and exit/re-entry visa details

The final exit visa itself carries no government fee. Workers issuing a self-filed final exit under labor reforms must settle all fines and hold an active Iqama, and must use the exit within the validity period shown on their visa record in أبشر. Private-sector workers whose contracts have ended can submit a self-filed final exit through أبشر → Visa Services → Final Exit Visa, while employers can process exits through أبشر Business.

Exit and re-entry visa fees remain in place for 2026: a single exit/re-entry costs 200 SAR for up to two months, plus 100 SAR a multiple exit/re-entry costs 500 SAR for up to three months, with added fees for extensions. Users are advised to always check the exact validity and fees displayed in their أبشر account before travel.
