Absher tops 240 million transactions in H1 2026

Saudi Living reports that the Absher platform processed more than 240,268,250 digital government transactions during the first half of 2026, covering both Absher Individuals and Absher Business services used by citizens, residents, and visitors across the Kingdom.

The bulk of the activity came through Absher Individuals, which handled 225,360,865 transactions in the six-month period, while Absher Business processed 14,907,385 transactions. The Digital Documents Wallet on Absher Individuals alone accounted for 174,906,632 document viewing transactions, reflecting how widely users now rely on the app to access official documents from their phones.

Security-sector services made up a significant share of the total. In the first half of 2026, the General Directorate of Public Security handled around 19.8 million transactions, the General Directorate of Traffic about 19.1 million, and the General Directorate of Passports roughly 13.9 million. The Civil Status Agency at the Ministry of Interior processed close to 2.8 million transactions.

Monthly figures show steady demand. Absher recorded 44,831,914 transactions in January, 43,585,844 in March, 43,722,443 in May, and 48,854,788 in June. In June, Absher Individuals alone handled 46,113,483 transactions, with 38,026,828 document viewings through the Digital Documents Wallet.

For residents and expats, the numbers underline how central Absher has become to everyday life — from renewing documents and managing traffic and passport matters to viewing official records digitally. The high volume points to continued growth in the Kingdom's push toward accessible, paperless government services.
