Adobe to Offer SAR 15bn Free AI Tools in Saudi Arabia

Adobe has expanded its partnership with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the Saudi sovereign AI company Humain to provide free access to AI‑powered creative tools worth more than SAR 15 billion (over USD 4 billion) to citizens and residents across the Kingdom.

The initiative targets more than 27 million eligible citizens and residents aged 13 and above, offering 12 months of free access to the Adobe Firefly Standard subscription tier and Adobe Express Premium features. The standard commercial fees for both services are waived (SAR 0) for eligible users during the free‑access period.

The package includes a generative image model tuned specifically to Saudi culture and Arabic‑language prompts. A joint image‑generation model, powered by Adobe Firefly Foundry and Humain's Arabic‑first capabilities, is being developed to reflect Saudi heritage, values and religion, with full Arabic and right‑to‑left support in Adobe Express.

How to access

The free tools and training will be delivered through Adobe's own digital platforms and training programs, including Adobe Express and Firefly cloud services, Adobe Digital Academy, and AI Essentials for Marketers initiatives. Roll‑out is scheduled to begin scaling by the end of 2026, with phased availability for eligible users.

Enrollment and usage are handled via Adobe and program channels using Adobe accounts. As of early September 2026, there is no official indication that access is being processed through government citizen‑service platforms such as أبشر, مقيم, قوى, ناجز, نفاذ or توكلنا.

Framed as part of رؤية السعودية 2030, the program aims to boost digital creativity, AI adoption and startup ecosystem growth in the Kingdom, giving millions of residents professional creative tools at no cost for a full year.
