Al Ittihad Draw 0-0 at Al Fateh Before Al Nassr Clash

Al Ittihad were held to a 0–0 draw away at Al Fateh on 29 August 2026 in the Saudi Pro League, a stalemate that leaves the Jeddah side without a goal from the encounter as they prepare for a far bigger test.

The result comes just days before Al Ittihad face Al Nassr on 5 September 2026 in Jeddah, one of the most anticipated fixtures on the domestic calendar. The clash is scheduled for Alinma Stadium at King Abdullah Sport City.

The scoreless outcome at Al Fateh means Al Ittihad head into the marquee meeting without the momentum a win would have brought. For a team eyeing a strong league campaign, dropping points on the road can prove costly when the standings tighten later in the season.

Why it matters

The upcoming meeting between Al Ittihad and Al Nassr is expected to draw a large crowd in Jeddah, with fans across the Kingdom following closely. Matches between the country's leading clubs carry weight both on the table and among supporters, and this fixture is set to be a highlight of the current round.

Residents planning to attend are advised to arrive early and plan travel to King Abdullah Sport City ahead of kick-off, given the expected attendance for the 5 September fixture.
