Al-Maghlouth Named Vice Minister of Media

Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Maghlouth has been appointed Vice (Deputy) Minister of Media in Saudi Arabia at the excellent rank, in a senior government appointment announced by a royal order issued on 24 Sha’ban 1447 AH, corresponding to 12 February 2026.

The royal order, numbered O/267, names him as Deputy Minister of Media with the excellent rank. The decree directs that it be communicated to the competent entities for implementation, marking a routine step in a sovereign personnel decision.

Al-Maghlouth is a familiar name within the media sector. He previously served as Assistant Minister of Media from December 2023, and earlier held the roles of Official Spokesperson of the Ministry of Media and Director General of the Center for Government Communication.
