Al-Maghlouth Named Vice Minister of Media

A royal order issued on 12 February 2026 appointed Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Maghlouth as Vice (Deputy) Minister of Media in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the Excellent rank.

The order moves Al-Maghlouth from his previous position as Assistant Minister of Media, which he held at the same rank, to the more senior role of Vice Minister. His appointment forms part of the current leadership structure of the Ministry of Media as of 2026.

The Vice Minister position is one of the senior posts within the ministry, supporting the direction and oversight of the Kingdom's media affairs and its national institutions in the sector.

There are no publicly announced fees, service prices, or new procedures tied to this royal order or to the position itself. For residents and expats, the appointment does not change any government services or require any action.

Leadership updates at ministry level often reflect ongoing efforts to strengthen the Kingdom's institutions across sectors, in line with wider national development goals.
