AlQadsiah Named First Olympic Multisport Training Hub

AlQadsiah Club Company signed a cooperation agreement with the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee at the club's headquarters in Al Khobar Governorate on 11 September 2026, a step that makes AlQadsiah the first recognized multisport Olympic training facility in the Kingdom.

Under the agreement, athletes of the Saudi Olympic Training Centre in the Eastern Region will gain access to AlQadsiah's sports facilities and equipment, allowing them to train daily in an environment close to where they live and prepare. The two sides also agreed to deepen cooperation between their technical teams and specialists across performance and sports science, medical support, and athlete monitoring and follow-up.

The stated objectives of the agreement include developing the system for preparing athletes, identifying and nurturing sports talent, strengthening technical and coaching competencies, and building integrated development pathways that help Saudi athletes compete and succeed internationally.

The signing was attended by the Chairman of AlQadsiah Club Company's Board, Rami Al-Turki, alongside AlQadsiah CEO James Bisgrove, and the CEO and Secretary General of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, Abdulaziz Baashen.

The agreement is described as part of a broader effort to expand integration between Saudi sports clubs and the Olympic and Paralympic system, and to build a professional and sustainable environment for multiple sports. For the community in the Eastern Region, it means a stronger local training base for aspiring athletes and a clearer route toward qualifying Saudi competitors for future Olympic Games, in line with AlQadsiah's vision to become a leading multi-sport performance hub in the Kingdom.
