Saudi Aramco said its affected oil operations can be restored within days, as the company works to strengthen the flexibility and resilience of its crude-export network.
The company is studying the addition of a fourth and fifth crude-export route to its three primary options. Existing routes include the East-West pipeline across the Kingdom, exports via the Red Sea, and the SUMED pipeline through Egypt.
Aramco is also weighing an expansion of its overseas crude-storage capacity, including in Japan, as part of efforts to broaden its logistics and supply flexibility. No specific destinations, capacities, completion dates, or confirmed costs were disclosed for the additional routes or the planned storage expansion.
Why it matters
For residents and businesses across the Kingdom, the message points to continuity and reliability in a sector central to the national economy. A diversified export and storage network is designed to reduce disruption risk and support steady operations over the long term.
The statement relates to Aramco's corporate oil operations. It does not involve any consumer prices, fees in Saudi Riyal, application steps, or changes to official services or government platforms.
