Aramco Shares Go Ex-Dividend for Q2 2026 Payout

Shares of Saudi Aramco traded ex-dividend on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) for the company's second-quarter 2026 cash dividend, adding to active turnover on the main market. Investors buying the stock (ticker 2222) from the ex-dividend session onward are not entitled to this particular payout.

The company's base cash dividend for the quarter is SAR 0.3393 amounting to roughly SAR 82.06 billion in total. The eligibility (record) date is 19 August 2026, covering shareholders registered with the Securities Depository Center (Edaa) at the end of the second trading day following that date. The cash is scheduled to be paid on 27 August 2026, credited through investors' brokerage accounts linked to Saudi banks.

The entire process is handled within the capital market infrastructure. Order execution runs through the Saudi Exchange, shareholder records and entitlements are managed by the Securities Depository Center, and investors access the market through licensed brokers. No separate government platform is used to claim the dividend.

Resident investors generally receive the full SAR 0.3393 while payouts to non-resident investors are made net of any applicable Saudi withholding tax. Standard trading costs apply when buying or selling around the ex-dividend date, including an exchange trading fee of 0.0008 of trade value, an Edaa fee of 0.0004, a Capital Market Authority regulatory fee of 0.00015, and a brokerage commission set by each broker.

Trading hours on the Saudi Exchange remain 10:00 to 15:00 Riyadh time on business days. As one of the market's largest listings, Aramco's inclusion in the TASI index means its ex-dividend and record dates typically lift overall market turnover.
