Other emergency numbers
For residents and visitors, 911 is the official emergency number in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province. Additional emergency lines remain in service nationwide, including 112 for emergencies when a phone has no SIM card, 999 for police, 997 for ambulance, and 998 for fire and civil defense.
The high call volume underscores the role these centers play in daily life across the Kingdom's most populated regions. Callers are encouraged to use the numbers responsibly so that operators can respond quickly to genuine emergencies. Calling 911 carries no fees, as it is a free emergency service.
