Passengers travelling between Saudi Arabia and India on IndiGo should check their bookings, after the airline extended the cancellation of flights to and from Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Madinah through 14 November 2026. The airline cited ongoing regional airspace restrictions as the reason for the disruption.
Travellers holding affected tickets have two main options under the airline's ticket conditions: a full refund, or one complimentary date change subject to seat availability. No extra airline fees have been reported for choosing either option.
What passengers should do
Affected customers are advised to manage their bookings through the airline's official website or mobile app, the booking-management page, its customer-support channels, or the travel agent who issued the ticket. Those who booked through an agency should contact the agent directly to arrange a refund or rebooking.
Before heading to the airport, passengers should confirm the current status of their flight, as further schedule changes remain possible while the airspace restrictions continue.
It is important to note that Saudi government platforms such as أبشر, مقيم, قوى, ناجز, نفاذ, Balady, توكلنا, and Etimad do not process airline ticket refunds or flight rebooking. No Saudi-specific fee, validity period, or government procedure applies to the cancellation itself, and the airline has not published any government charges, airport fees, visa penalties, or replacement-routing prices related to this disruption.
With the cancellations now stretching to mid-November, affected residents and visitors are encouraged to plan ahead, keep their contact details updated with the airline, and review travel insurance and onward-connection arrangements where relevant.
