Jeddah Airport Operating With Some Delays, Cancellations

King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah is continuing to operate, though travelers may face some flight delays and cancellations. Passengers scheduled to fly to or from the airport are advised to confirm their flight status before heading to the terminal.

The airport remains open and processing flights, but the current situation means some departures and arrivals may not run on schedule. For this reason, checking directly with your airline and the airport is the most reliable way to know whether your specific flight is affected.

What travelers should do

Before leaving home, verify your flight details through your airline's official channels and the airport's updates. This helps you avoid long waits at the terminal and gives you time to adjust plans if your flight has been delayed or cancelled.

If your trip is affected, contact your airline about rebooking options or alternative arrangements. Arriving with enough time and staying informed can make a significant difference during periods when schedules are subject to change.

For the many residents and visitors in Jeddah and across the Western Region who rely on the airport, staying up to date is especially important. Saudi Living encourages travelers to plan ahead, keep contact details handy, and monitor their flight status closely until departure.
