Kings League MENA Names Al-Fayez Ahead of Riyadh Return

Kings League MENA has appointed Wael Al-Fayez as its new managing director, a move announced ahead of the competition's return to Riyadh for Split 1 in 2026.

Split 1 is scheduled to take place in Riyadh from September 18 to October 30, 2026. The matches are set to be staged once again at Cool Arena on Riyadh بوليفارد سيتي, which previously hosted the fast-paced football competition in the capital.

The upcoming season will feature an expanded format with 10 teams, marking a step up for the competition in the region. The appointment of Al-Fayez signals a renewed focus on organizing and growing the tournament as it prepares for its next chapter in Riyadh.

For residents and football fans across the capital, the return of Kings League MENA offers another homegrown entertainment option that blends sport with a modern, high-energy atmosphere. The Boulevard City venue has become a familiar destination for large-scale events, and the tournament's return adds to the growing calendar of sporting activities in the city.

Further details about the 2026 season, including participating teams and the match schedule, are expected to be shared closer to the event.
