Maaden Q1 2026 Revenue Beats Estimates at SAR 8.79B

The Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Maaden) reported first-quarter 2026 revenue of SAR 8.79 billion, coming in above market estimates and up 3% compared with the same period a year earlier. The result was driven mainly by improved commodity market prices.

Attributable net profit for the quarter reached SAR 1.64 billion, a 6% increase year on year. The company also reported EBITDA of $964 million for the period.

Momentum carried into the following quarter. For the second quarter of 2026, Maaden posted revenue of SAR 10.9 billion, up 16% year on year, alongside net profit of SAR 2.18 billion. Taken together, first-half 2026 revenue stood at SAR 19.73 billion and net profit at SAR 3.81 billion, both up 10% compared with the first half of the previous year.

Full-year 2025 in context

The quarterly figures follow a strong 2025, when Maaden recorded revenue of SAR 38.58 billion, an increase of 18.53% over the prior year. That rise was attributed to higher market prices for phosphate, aluminum, and gold, along with higher sales volumes in phosphate and aluminum, partly offset by a slightly lower volume of gold.

As one of the largest mining companies in the region, Maaden's performance carries weight for the wider economy and the ongoing push to develop the Kingdom's mining sector. Steady growth in revenue and profit reflects rising demand for minerals used across construction, manufacturing, and agriculture — activity that supports jobs and industrial investment in the communities where the company operates.
