Ministry of Sport Launches National Day Fitness Drive

The Ministry of Sport launched a nationwide athletic campaign on 16 September 2026 to mark National Day, inviting residents across the Kingdom to take part in activities that promote fitness and healthier daily habits.

The campaign is built around active lifestyles and physical fitness, combining multimedia content with community participation. It aims to encourage people of all ages to add movement to their routines and to celebrate the occasion through sport.

No fee, registration process, validity period, designated venue, or ticket price has been announced for the campaign. There have also been no recent changes to fees, eligibility, or official registration channels connected to it.

Why it matters

For residents and expats in cities such as Riyadh and Jeddah, the campaign offers a straightforward way to join National Day festivities while building healthier habits. Its focus on community participation means families, friends, and neighbours can take part together, reinforcing the wider national push toward a more active society.

Saudi Living will share further details on activities and how to get involved as more information becomes available.
