Napster AI is set to be officially incorporated in Saudi Arabia in 2026 through a locally governed legal entity, as the company expands its operations in embodied, multimodal artificial intelligence agents inside the Kingdom.
The new entity is being established under Saudi Arabia's foreign investment framework. This process begins with an investment license from the Ministry of Investment (MISA), followed by Commercial Registration (CR) with the Ministry of Commerce, municipal licensing, tax registration, and onboarding onto the Kingdom's labor and HR platforms.
MISA license issuance and registration fees generally range from about SAR 2,000 to SAR 11,000, either as a one-time or annually renewed fee depending on the license type and activity. A common breakdown places the MISA investment license at around SAR 2,000 with an investor registry subscription of roughly SAR 10,000 in the first year.
Commercial Registration issuance in 2026 typically costs between SAR 1,200 and SAR 2,500 for most corporate activities. Recent regulatory changes have lowered several fees, with initial registration for small companies with capital up to SAR 500,000 dropping to as little as SAR 1,000, and micro and small businesses eligible for 50% discounts on registration and renewal. Municipality (Balady) and safety permits, including Civil Defense approvals, generally add a combined cost of roughly SAR 2,000 to SAR 7,000, while Chamber of Commerce membership sits around SAR 2,000.
For the local community, the move signals growing confidence in Saudi Arabia as a base for advanced technology firms. A locally established AI company can create specialized jobs, support skills development, and contribute to the Kingdom's ambitions in artificial intelligence in line with رؤية السعودية 2030.
