Netflix Concludes Write the Future Program in Saudi Arabia

Netflix, in collaboration with Righters House, has concluded its “Write the Future” training program, which was held across three regions of Saudi Arabia to support and develop local writing talent.

The initiative was designed to nurture aspiring writers and equip them with practical skills in storytelling and script development, offering a structured path for those hoping to build careers in the creative and screen industries.

By running the program in multiple regions, the organizers aimed to reach a wider pool of participants and give creative talent from different parts of the Kingdom an equal opportunity to take part, learn, and connect with professionals in the field.

Why it matters

Programs like “Write the Future” reflect the growing momentum behind Saudi Arabia’s creative and cultural sectors, where writing, film, and digital storytelling are increasingly seen as promising career paths for young talent.

For residents and aspiring creatives across the Kingdom, such initiatives open doors to skills-building and industry exposure, helping to strengthen a homegrown community of writers whose work can reach both local and global audiences.
