Saudi Arabia launched a national Learning and Professional Development Platform for the architecture and design sector in late August 2026, creating a digital hub where practitioners and interested individuals can access structured training and continuous professional development.
The platform aims to raise the quality of professional practice and strengthen the competitiveness of the sector. It offers specialized programs and courses across architecture, interior design, urban design, and related fields, with topics ranging from design excellence and innovation to sustainability, urban heritage and conservation, business practices, social impact and community engagement, inclusive environments, technology in architecture and design, contemporary design, and documentation and archiving.
How it works
Learning is delivered fully online, with interactive materials, assessments, and tools that let users track their progress. Each user keeps a digital learning record that documents completed programs and their overall development path. The platform was built with the National Center for E-Learning using the FutureX infrastructure, with continuous professional development content and registration hosted at adc-cpd.futurex.sa.
The platform is part of the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) initiative, which provides regular annual educational hours for each practitioner in the sector. The framework is designed to enrich knowledge, deepen expertise, and support ongoing skills development over time.
Registration for practitioners runs through the FutureX e-learning environment linked to the sector's CPD platform, while priority access and interest registration are available through official culture-sector engagement channels. Based on current information, access is through culture-sector digital channels rather than platforms such as أبشر, مقيم, قوى, ناجز, نفاذ, or توكلنا.
For residents and professionals working in the Kingdom's fast-growing design and construction sector, the platform offers a practical route to build recognized skills and document professional growth as demand for specialized talent continues to rise.
