Qualcomm Technologies and Tarjama signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at LEAP 2026 in Riyadh to explore deploying enterprise-ready Arabic artificial-intelligence solutions across the region.
Under the agreement, the two companies plan to work together on several areas of applied AI, including generative AI, conversational AI, reasoning, and agentic AI. The collaboration aims to bring Arabic-first technology to businesses looking to adopt AI tools built around the language and needs of the region.
Tarjama is set to contribute its Arabic.AI platform, Arabic-native models, and enterprise applications, while Qualcomm will provide expertise in AI acceleration, inferencing performance, scalability, and deployment optimization. As part of the plan, solutions will be evaluated on Dragonfly AI infrastructure.
Why it matters
The MoU points to growing momentum behind Arabic-language AI, an area of particular relevance to organizations serving customers across Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf. Enterprise tools designed to understand and generate Arabic naturally could help businesses improve customer service, automate workflows, and reach Arabic-speaking users more effectively.
This is a private-sector agreement. No Saudi government fees, application steps, or procedures are involved, and no validity period, region-specific pricing, or implementation timeline was publicly specified.
