Riyadh Air to Launch Direct Riyadh–Manchester Flights

Riyadh Air has launched direct nonstop flights between Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport and Manchester in the United Kingdom, with commercial service beginning on 17 September 2026. Manchester becomes the carrier's second UK destination after London, as part of its ongoing international route expansion from Riyadh.

The route operates three times weekly, on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Flight RX0417 departs Riyadh at 01:30 local time and arrives in Manchester at 06:40 local time, while the return flight RX0418 leaves Manchester at 08:40 local time and lands in Riyadh at 17:20 local time.

Flights are operated by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft in a three-cabin layout offering Business (including a "Business Elite" product), Premium Economy and Economy, with a total of 290 seats. As of mid-September 2026, Riyadh Air's network from Riyadh provides direct connectivity to 14 destinations, with Manchester among the active routes.

The new link gives residents and expats in the capital a fresh option for direct travel to northern England, cutting the need for connections. Fares are dynamically priced and fluctuate daily, so travellers are advised to check current prices at the time of booking.
