Riyadh to Host UNESCO AI Ethics Forum in Sept 2026

Riyadh will host the 4th UNESCO Global Forum on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence from 14 to 17 September 2026, bringing a major international gathering on responsible AI to the Saudi capital. The event will take place at The Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh, in Al Hada District.

The forum is being organized by SDAIA together with ICAIRE and UNESCO. It is set to run across four days, with sessions expected to explore how governments, institutions, and the technology sector can develop and use artificial intelligence responsibly and in line with globally recognized ethical principles.

Attendance is free of charge. Registration is already open through the forum's official registration platform, and no ticket price or paid entry has been announced. There is no separate validity period beyond the event dates of 14 to 17 September 2026.

Why it matters

For the community in Riyadh and across the Kingdom, hosting a forum of this scale reflects Saudi Arabia's growing role in global conversations around technology and its governance. Professionals, researchers, students, and organizations with an interest in artificial intelligence and ethics may find the event a valuable opportunity to follow international discussions taking place locally.

Those planning to attend are encouraged to register early through the official platform, as the event is free and open to interested participants. Saudi Living will continue to follow the announcement and share further details as they become available.
