Saudi Arabia Beats Oman 3-0, Reaches Gulf Cup Semis

Saudi Arabia booked a place in the Gulf Cup 27 semifinals after a commanding 3–0 win over Oman on 26 September 2026 at Al-Inma Stadium in Jeddah.

The hosts struck early through Firas Al-Buraikan, who opened the scoring in the 11th minute. Hassan Kadesh doubled the lead in the 18th minute before Al-Buraikan added his second and the team's third in the 34th minute, effectively settling the result before halftime.

The victory lifts Saudi Arabia to the top of Group A with six points from two matches, confirming their progression to the knockout stage with a game still to play.

Saudi Arabia will close out the group phase against Iraq. With qualification already secured, the match offers a chance to maintain momentum and rhythm ahead of the semifinals.

The result gives local fans plenty to celebrate as the national team continues its campaign on home soil, with strong support expected to fill stadiums during the remaining fixtures in Jeddah.
