Riyadh opened the 10th Arab Festival of Sports for All on September 4, 2026, welcoming athletes and participants from across the region for a five-day celebration of community sport that ran through September 8.
The event was organized by the Saudi Sports for All Federation and brought together seven participating nations: Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Palestine, Morocco, and Syria.
The program offered a wide mix of activities for all ages and skill levels, including table tennis, archery, air hockey, boxing challenges, interactive basketball, and speed-reaction games. Visitors could also take part in mini-football, floor curling, interactive cycling, and a selection of traditional games.
Festivals like this one reflect the Kingdom's growing focus on encouraging an active lifestyle and making sport accessible to everyone in the community. By combining competitive challenges with interactive and traditional games, the event gave families and participants of all backgrounds a chance to move, connect, and enjoy sport together.
The five-day gathering also underscored Riyadh's role as a regional hub for community-driven sporting events, drawing participants from several Arab countries under one program in the capital.
