Saudi Aramco Posts $33.4 Billion Q2 Net Income

Saudi Aramco reported an adjusted net income of $33.4 billion, equal to SAR 125.2 billion, for the second quarter of 2026,

The figure marks a 33% increase compared with the same period a year earlier. Net income attributable to shareholders reached SAR 122.6 billion, or $32.7 billion, for the quarter.

For the first half of 2026, the company recorded an adjusted net income of $67.2 billion, underlining a strong start to the year for one of the Kingdom's largest employers and economic drivers.

Why it matters

Aramco's performance carries broad significance for residents and businesses across Saudi Arabia. As a cornerstone of the national economy, the company's earnings feed into government revenues that support public services, infrastructure and the wide-ranging development goals under رؤية السعودية 2030.

Strong quarterly results can also reinforce confidence in the Kingdom's investment climate, from major projects in الرياض and جدة to the growing private sector that many expats and Saudi families depend on for jobs and opportunities. For the wider community, steady corporate earnings often translate into continued momentum for the economic diversification efforts shaping daily life across the country.
