The Saudi Esports Federation signed a partnership with the Saudi Entertainment and Event Management Academy in April 2026, aimed at developing local talent in gaming and event management. The agreement seeks to strengthen the Kingdom's growing digital entertainment ecosystem and open new pathways for homegrown professionals.
Under the partnership, participants will have access to specialized training sessions, workshops, seminars, internships, and awareness initiatives covering esports and its wider ecosystem. The goal is to equip local talent with the practical skills needed to work across gaming and event management.
Building talent pathways
The move is part of a broader push to nurture domestic expertise in the fast-expanding esports sector. In a separate 2026 partnership, the Saudi Esports Federation teamed up with Yalla Group to launch a talent development program with the Saudi Esports Academy, focused on training, mentorship, and competitive experience.
That program is also linked to the Saudi eLeague 2026 and supports the Women's Saudi eLeague, expanding opportunities for players and professionals across the community.
For residents and expats interested in gaming and digital entertainment, these initiatives point to more structured routes into a sector that continues to grow across the Kingdom, offering training and hands-on experience for aspiring talent.
