Saudi Esports League 2026: SAR 4M Prize Pool Revealed
The chairman of the Saudi Esports Federation has unveiled the details of the 2026 Saudi Esports League season, featuring an expanded competitive structure, a new talent development track, and a total prize pool of SAR 4,000,000 for young and professional gamers across the Kingdom.
The 2026 domestic circuit is organised into four distinct tiers. The Saudi eLeague Elite gathers top professional clubs and players across 10 major titles, including Rainbow Six Siege X, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, PUBG Mobile, Rocket League, VALORANT, EA FC 26, Fortnite, Warzone, Overwatch 2 and Apex Legends. The Saudi eLeagues Challenger focuses on developmental and community play in titles such as Dota 2, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, League of Legends, Call of Duty: Mobile, Counter-Strike 2 and eFootball.
The Yalla Saudi eLeague Women hosts women-only competitions in Overwatch 2, VALORANT, EA FC 26 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, while the Saudi Fighting League serves the fighting-games community with titles including Tekken 8, Street Fighter 6 and Fatal Fury. In total, the 2026 season spans more than 20 game titles across all tiers.
A pathway for young talent
Alongside the competitions, a formal Talent Development Program has been established through a partnership between the Saudi Esports Federation and the Saudi Esports Academy. It offers structured training, hands-on competitive experience and mentorship to help aspiring players move up from the Challenger to the Elite tier and, eventually, to international events.
For the local gaming community, the expanded season creates clearer routes for amateurs to turn their passion into a career, with registration and communication handled through the Federation's own digital platforms and league portals rather than government service apps.
