Saudi Facility Management Market Tops $50 Billion

Saudi Arabia's facility management market has surpassed USD 50 billion in 2026, cementing the sector as one of the fastest-growing services markets in the Kingdom. The growth is driven largely by smart cities, urban expansion, and a strong pipeline of infrastructure projects.

Independent market studies place the 2026 market size within a broad band of roughly USD 31–55 billion, with forecasts pointing to around USD 78–135 billion by 2031–2035. That trajectory reflects compound annual growth typically estimated between 7% and 12%, as demand rises across commercial, industrial, healthcare, hospitality, and governmental sectors.

What's fueling the growth

Large-scale municipal and housing projects, new urban development zones, and the wider adoption of smart buildings and digital monitoring are among the main drivers. A busy tourism and hospitality pipeline is also increasing demand for outsourced and integrated facility management services across the country.

The integrated facility management segment alone is estimated at around USD 4.4–5.3 billion in 2025–2026, with projections to reach about USD 7.6 billion by 2031. This points to a clear shift toward bundled contracts that combine hard services — such as building maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire systems — with soft services like cleaning, security, landscaping, and waste management, alongside energy and sustainability management.

Outsourcing continues to expand, accounting for more than 60% of total facility management spending in recent estimates, with an increasing share going to integrated contracts rather than single-service arrangements. Facility management for municipal assets, buildings, waste and cleaning services, and commercial licensing remains tied to municipal and housing authorities.

For residents and businesses in Riyadh, Jeddah, and beyond, the trend signals continued investment in maintaining and operating the buildings, malls, hospitals, and public spaces used every day — supporting long-term quality and reliability of services across the Kingdom.
