The Saudi Sports for All Federation took part in Leaders Week London 2026, held on 7–8 October 2026 at Stamford Bridge in London, where it presented the Kingdom's model for community sports and physical activity under رؤية السعودية 2030.
During the showcase, the federation highlighted the steady rise in physical activity across the country. The share of Saudi adults meeting the recommended 150 minutes of weekly physical activity reached 59.1% in 2025, reflecting a broad shift toward more active daily routines.
The Riyadh Marathon was presented as a leading example of how major sporting events can feed directly into grassroots participation. The race grew from around 10,000 runners in 2022 to more than 50,000 in 2026, and has earned Elite road-race classification from World Athletics.
Expanding Access Across the Kingdom
The federation emphasized the role of partnerships with private-sector organizations and sports federations in widening access to community activity. It also pointed to the fourth edition of the SFA Active program, now running across five Saudi cities, and to SFA Domes, a year-round multisport facility in the Eastern Province.
For residents and families across the Kingdom, the momentum signals more opportunities to take part in organized and informal sports close to home. From large public races to neighborhood programs and dedicated facilities, the expanding offering makes it easier for people of all fitness levels to build movement into their everyday lives.
