The Saudi Air Connectivity Program (ACP) and الخطوط السعودية have increased seat capacity on direct routes linking Saudi Arabia with the United States and China for 2026, adding more weekly flights on three key international routes.
On the New York JFK–جدة route, three additional weekly flights have been introduced, raising the total to seven weekly flights and providing annual capacity of more than 211,000 seats in both directions. The Guangzhou–جدة route gains one additional weekly flight, bringing the total to four weekly flights with annual capacity exceeding 124,000 seats in both directions.
The Beijing Daxing–الرياض route also adds one weekly flight, reaching a total of three weekly flights and annual capacity of over 93,000 seats in both directions.
Why it matters
These additions form part of a wider plan to expand international routes in 2026, supporting the Kingdom's tourism and air connectivity goals. For residents and travellers in الرياض and جدة, the extra flights mean greater availability and more direct travel options to two of the world's largest markets.
The role of the Saudi Air Connectivity Program is to streamline market entry and encourage expansion opportunities for local and international aviation partners in the Kingdom, working through its own dedicated official channels. Ticket prices, fare families and validity periods are handled through الخطوط السعودية commercial booking systems and remain dynamic rather than fixed amounts, so travellers should check availability directly when planning journeys for 2026.
