Airline Flights to Riyadh, Jeddah Disrupted Until Oct 2026

Travelers flying to and from Riyadh and Jeddah should plan ahead, as several international airlines have extended or maintained cancellations and schedule changes on routes serving the two cities through October 2026. The disruptions are already reflected in airline booking systems.

Air India and Air India Express have suspended their Saudi Arabia services to Riyadh and Jeddah through October 24, 2026. IndiGo has cancelled flights to and from both cities over the same period, while Akasa Air suspended Riyadh services through October 24 and Jeddah services through October 21, 2026.

Among Gulf carriers, Etihad Airways cancelled Abu Dhabi–Riyadh and Abu Dhabi–Jeddah services through October 24, 2026, with affected Jeddah flights including EY601, EY602, EY603 and EY604. Emirates recorded cancellations and schedule changes on Dubai–Riyadh and Dubai–Jeddah services, including EK801, EK803 and EK805, with some flights scheduled to resume on October 21, 2026.

Qatar Airways reduced its Doha–Jeddah service from seven daily flights to four, while its Riyadh flights remained cancelled through October 24, 2026. Oman Air suspended Riyadh flights through October 22, SalamAir through October 31, and Air France through October 24, 2026.

For residents and expats who travel frequently between the Kingdom and the wider region, the changes mean fewer available seats and possible rerouting on some popular connections. Passengers are advised to confirm their flight status directly before heading to the airport and to review rebooking options early. No government fees or application steps apply to these airline schedule changes.
