Sports Boulevard Fund Backs 5-Star Riyadh Hotel

A new real estate investment fund exceeding SAR 700 million has been established to finance the development of a five-star hotel in Urban Wadi, part of the Hittin District in northern Riyadh. The fund marks the third real estate investment vehicle launched under the Sports Boulevard Real Estate Development and Investment Co.

Rikaz Properties has been named as the developer and investor for the project, while Aljazira Capital will act as the fund manager. The development is planned on a land area of about 13,500 square meters, with a gross floor area of roughly 34,400 square meters.

The project adds to the growing hospitality and real estate offering along Riyadh's Sports Boulevard, one of the capital's major quality-of-life developments. A new five-star hotel in the Urban Wadi area is expected to expand accommodation options for visitors and residents alike, while supporting the district's mix of leisure, sports, and lifestyle destinations.

It is worth noting that this hotel-specific fund is separate from an earlier investment fund exceeding $186 million referenced for private real estate assets in Urban Wadi. The current announcement centers on the SAR 700 million+ fund dedicated to the five-star hotel.

This is a private investment and project announcement. No government fee, permit, or public-service process applies to the fund announcement itself, and residents do not need to take any action.
