The Sports Investment Forum 2026 concluded in Riyadh after three days of deal signings, workshops and investment discussions. Held at The Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh from 20 to 22 April 2026, the event featured a multi-track agenda, an investment exhibition, and a dedicated platform for agreements and partnerships.
The gathering brought together senior delegates, CEOs, investors, decision-makers, government leaders, sovereign investors, giga-project representatives, clubs, federations and advisory firms, with attendance reaching the hundreds. The forum operated under the patronage and strategic partnership of national entities responsible for sport and investment, including relevant ministries and the Royal Commission for Riyadh City as a Strategic Partner.
Deals and discussions
Previous editions of the forum have hosted more than 60 investment agreements spanning football, esports, motorsport, sports infrastructure, sports technology localization, smart fitness solutions, human capital development and marketing investments. Some individual deals have reached values in the tens to hundreds of millions of US dollars, including esports and motorsport projects. Earlier events also recorded over 50 strategic partners and licensing for regional headquarters of sports and media companies.
The 2026 agenda focused on themes such as innovation and technology in sport, sustainable development, women's sports empowerment, global partnerships, economic growth, sport for health and social impact, high-performance systems, elite facilities, athlete pathways, commercial growth and fan engagement.
The forum reflects the growing scale of the Kingdom's sports economy under the wider push to diversify investment. For residents across Riyadh and Jeddah, that momentum points to expanding sports facilities, events and career opportunities in the years ahead. Participation is handled through the event's own registration portals rather than government e-services, and no official ticket or participation fees in Saudi Riyal have been published for the 2026 edition.
