The world's first global humanoid robot sports league, CyberHero, officially launches in الرياض on 9 September 2026, making the Saudi capital the first stop in an inaugural season planned across eight cities in four regions: the Middle East, Europe, the Americas, and Asia. The Saudi edition is branded "CyberHero x Riyadh" and is described as the Middle East's first humanoid robot combat event.
The live debut takes place at Boulevard City, MBC Studio 1, in الرياض, on 9 September 2026 at 9:00 PM, with doors opening at 8:30 PM. The show runs for approximately two hours and features EngineAI T800 humanoid robots battling inside a purpose-built octagonal combat arena.
The Riyadh format pits two teams of three robot fighters against each other in a series of 1v1 battles, structured as a best-of-7 match. Ten EngineAI T800 robots compete overall. The event blends robotic combat and professional sports-style competition — including knockouts, damage statistics, and round highlights — with music, lighting, and live DJ entertainment as a ticketed live show.
CyberHero also publishes season standings, driver rankings, and a builder scoreboard that track per-team robot uptime and combat effectiveness across the global league. Full prize purses and the complete 2027 schedule have not yet been disclosed.
For the community, the launch adds a new type of entertainment to الرياض's growing live-events calendar. The Riyadh event will not be live-streamed; it is professionally recorded, with highlights and other content released later through CyberHero's own channels. No official ticket prices in ريال سعودي, registration fees, or additional Saudi venues and dates have been confirmed for 2026 at this stage.
