Emergency services across Jazan Region have raised their readiness ahead of Saudi National Day celebrations, deploying dozens of ambulance teams to keep residents and visitors safe during festivities.
The Saudi Red Crescent Authority has assigned 39 ambulance teams for the occasion, including crews stationed directly at event venues. The plan draws on 24 ambulance centers spread across the region's governorates, ensuring wide coverage during the busy celebration period.
Each team operates with trained paramedics and medical equipment, and ambulance services and emergency response run around the clock. Residents can report medical emergencies at any time by calling 997.
Wider readiness across Jazan
Alongside the medical preparations, Jazan municipalities have prepared 23 celebration sites for National Day 96 and increased readiness at 500 parks to accommodate large gatherings across the region.
The coordinated effort reflects the scale of expected turnout during the holiday, giving families the confidence to enjoy public celebrations knowing emergency help is close at hand. Residents are encouraged to keep the 997 number saved and to follow safety guidance at crowded venues.
