1,480 in Jeddah Get Alternative Land Deeds

Makkah's deputy emir distributed alternative land title deeds to 1,480 citizens in Jeddah whose plots in the Al-Malisaa scheme had been affected by overlapping land issues. The move is part of ongoing efforts to resolve the scheme's land disputes and secure residents' property rights.

Affected beneficiaries were compensated with alternative residential plots in the Tayba (Taibah) development scheme No. 612/C/S, located northeast of Jeddah. The plots were allocated through an electronic lottery using a digital mechanism designed to ensure transparency, fairness, and equal opportunity in line with approved regulations.

The allocation process is managed through Jeddah Municipality's electronic customer portal. Beneficiaries are required to log in using Unified National Access (Nafath) credentials, update their personal data, and complete the required digital steps to take part in the electronic lottery before their land is allocated and title deeds are issued.

Part of a wider municipal program

The land grants for citizens transferred from Al-Malisaa form part of a broader municipal program covering 2,418 beneficiaries across Jeddah, Rabigh, and Al Lith. Of these, 1,481 in Jeddah are receiving plots in approved subdivisions, including Tayba 612/C/S.

Authorities described the initiative as a step toward completing the resolution of overlapping land in the Al-Malisaa scheme and providing residential stability by safeguarding beneficiaries' property rights. The only channels involved in the process are Jeddah Municipality's electronic portal and Nafath login for identity verification.
